Should I be concerned if my child is not reading as early as her classmates? Learn more...

Reading earlier is not a prediction of being a good reader but the more the child reads the better she becomes a good reader. However, if you noticed that your child is not in a normal threshold of reading, or showing a sign of dyslexia, you should seek professional help as soon as possible before she falls further behind.
